Growing up, I was captivated by the culinary world, spending countless hours watching shows like the Barefoot Contessa, Good Eats, and Charm City Cakes. My early fascination with food deepend as I ventured into the restaurant industry, leading to formal training at the Culinary Institute of America in St. Helena, CA and Hyde Park, NY. Here, my passion for food expanded beyond the kitchen as I delved into the complexities of the broader food system. It was during this time that I began to understand how food choices can profoundly impact mental health, overall vitality and quality of life. 

My culinary journey has been shaped by a rich tapestry of cultures and cuisines, each leaving a mark on my cooking style. I draw inspiration from my diverse background. Many of my recipes offer a fresh interpretation of classic dishes from around the globe. For me, food transcends borders, serving as a universal language that fosters connection and community. At home in San Diego, CA, I feel lucky to share my creations with my wonderfully supportive and perpetually hungry husband.
